CARBONEX Business case
Thimon installed a COVER PAL 6000 stretch hooding line at CARBONEX, a company specialised in charcoal production in Gyé-sur-Seine, Aube. Thanks to this new line, the company has made the best use of the available space and has considerably increased its productivity.

The customer's request
CARBONEX was equipped with semi-automatic pallet wrapping machines, allowing it to wrap 20 to 30 pallets per hour, but CARBONEX wanted to increase its productivity.
This type of improvement is a huge challenge from a logistical point of view, and requires perfect organisation to guarantee the desired service.
It was for this reason that CARBONEX chose Thimon to restructure its entire pallet wrapping process.
The Thimon answer
After analysing CARBONEX's different needs and consulting the respective teams, a proposal was made based on a COVER-PAL 6000 stretch hooding solution, combined with a handling line adapted to CARBONEX's requirements.
This type of new generation hooder meets the following objectives:
- Ergonomics of use, in terms of both operation and maintenance;
- Packaging quality;
- High performance in terms of speed, energy consumption and optimisation of consumables.
Thimon was able to adapt to the specific requests and particularities of its customer with regard to operating and use space, electrical components, automatic control, etc.
