What is stretch full-web wrapping?
Stretch full-web wrapping (also called "curtain wrapping") is one of the many pallet wrapping technologies mastered by Thimon. The palletised load goes through a curtain of stretched film which is wrapped tightly round it. This film cover each side of the pallet before being closed and welded at the back of the load to hold your products firmly in place.
The benefits of stretch pallet wrapping are numerous:
- This technology enables you to cover all six sides of your load at a very high speed.
- You can choose from transparent, opaque, perforated or customised films in your company's colours. Your products therefore benefit from aesthetic packaging as well as UV protection.
- This also provides a tamperproof barrier for the contents of the load, since our packaging technology cannot be reproduced by hand if the film is damaged.
Stretch full-web wrapping is used in the construction industry for loads of varying length and width, for example.
